N after it has been torn apart Bette Lee Crosby is the author of than twenty novels Twenty novels I ve never ead by an author I ve never heard of I am deeply embarrassed as I make this evelation now as I feel like I have missed deeply embarrassed as I make this evelation now as I feel like I have missed on a big part of a literary journey by not having been a literary journey by not having been to Ms Crosby s books before now Emily Gone is heartbreaking and emotional but also uplifting and hopeful Three women are torn apart by suffering and it is only as they struggle to put their lives back together that we see the true nature of the human spirit and a mother s love Both Rachel and Angela are endearing characters and even Vicky has something charming in her broken soul It is difficult to take sides as this novel transpires and I felt the need to oot for all of them in one form or another Not only does this novel serve to provide ample emotional and entertainment it is also thought provoking as Crosby explores the worst kind of loss through the eyes of a mother Beautiful creative and full of spirit Emily Gone is a novel I won t soon forget It was a difficult novel to put down with short chapters narrated from the standpoints of most of the main characters which allowed for an in depth exploration of each characters tragedies Well a well developed storyline the highs and lows of the in depth exploration of each characters tragedies Well a well developed storyline the highs and lows of the lead to a delightfully happy ending which provides the much needed satisfaction a Daughter of Witches (Lyra, reader is seeking after such an emotional journey A crime of opportunity a grieving unhinged young woman breaks into a home looking for food and comes out with a 6 month old baby she s convinced is her own stillborn child While her boyfriend agonizes over how to get the baby girl back to her parents Vicki settlesight in as a mom Meanwhile Rachel finds it impossible to get over the loss of her baby There are plenty of wonderful small town characters and this story of grief World's Best Stress Busting Tips resilience and healing is compelling and well written This book should come with a warning label Don t starteading this unless you can commit to the whole novel immediatelynetgalley. N she leaves the festival and is faced with an opportunity to fill that void she is driven to an act of desperation that will forever bind the lives of three womenWhen the truth of what actually happened that fateful night is finally exposed shattering the lives they’ve built will they be able to pick up the pieces to put their families back together agai. ,
